Cartoon Netwerk

The Cartoon Netwerk is one of the best childhood memories of almost everyone of us. Cartoon Netwerk is commonly known as CN. This is an American television of a cable network that was created by Turner Broadcasting. Cartoon Netwerk was primarily famous for animated cartoon shows. Cartoon Netwerk was started broadcasting its first show on October 1, 1992. Bugs Bunny was the first ever show that was aired on Cartoon Netwerk. Cartoon Netwerk was youth oriented originally. It served as a twenty-four hours entertainment provider, entertaining its viewers by watching classic animated content.

Cartoon Netwerk has been very famous for broadcasting animated shows since years. In 2003, Cartoon Netwerk started airing some action programming broadcasted live. Most of these movies were broadcasted from Warner Brothers Pictures. Some of them were also from New Line Cinema. Over the years, Cartoon Netwerk has turned out to be very aggressive in its live action shows and their development.

Since this channel has been launched, it has been broadcasting several programs the whole 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The first theme that was also involved in the first logo of the Cartoon Netwerk was the checkerboard theme. Several short cartoons were aired in slots of half an hour and of one hour. Tom and Jerry Show, Bugs Bunny, Bugs and Daffy Tonight were some big names of that time. Tom and Jerry show was the exception out of all. It was the only classic animation that was aired for the longest time on regular basis.

There were several cartoon series that touched the heights of fame. Six out of them that were aired year after the year were, Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, The Power puff Girls, Cow and Chicken, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and Mike, Lu and Og.

In the year 1996, Turner Broadcasting had a merger with Time Warner and many past and recent productions by Warner Brother were started airing on Cartoon Netwerk. In 1998, the Cartoon Netwerk had a re-makeover that was applicable till 2004.

In June 2004, the Cartoon Netwerk has updated its new logo and tag line to be “This is Cartoon Netwerk”. This was the first time that a female voice has announced something on the channel. Before that, there were only male voices that had the opportunity to announce for the Cartoon Netwerk.

In 2006, the Cartoon Show had started. In that show, many ninety's cartoon shows were aired including The Power puff Girls and Dexter's Laboratory.

In February 2010, the Cartoon Netwerk started use of the bumpers that featured Noods changing the look of the channel. Noods were formed by real life objects.
